Genre: Tropical Grooves
Zé Leônidas is a Berlin-based Brazilian artist, songwriter and producer working at the intersection of tropical groove, contemporary pop and dance-oriented jazz.
In his project Psicotrópica, he combines Brazilian rhythms, analog synths, guitar-driven arrangements and electronic textures into a genre-crossing sound shaped by Berlin’s transnational music scene.
Inspired by artists such as Gilberto Gil, Rita Lee and Djavan, Psicotrópica reimagines Brazilian musical traditions through a contemporary urban perspective.
